Once every hundred thousand years or so...

... I don't just dress up but I also manage to get some half-decent photos of my outfit! (Tenacious D reference intended! Got a catchy tune, anyone? :D )

I managed to secure a more-or-less well lighted sport for photos in our apartment. Our shelf looks so empty because most of my boyfriend's and almost all of my books are still at my parents' place :'D
This week end was my stepdad's birthday and I was really looking forward to wearing this dress again. The only problem is, I can't wear it without a belt - I mean I could, but it's very loose and babydoll cut, and that usually looks incredibly unflattering on me. So I searched for my black lace belt like crazy but couldn't find it .__. I'm really frustrated now, because I really need it for all my babydoll-cut clothes ;__; I even remember when I last had it, I searched literally everywhere and I'm out of ideas where it could be.... but then again, I've been searching like crazy for my Pokémon SoulSilver edition after our move too, and it turned up just a few days ago in a place I had looked several times before *facepalm* I just hope the belt will turn up again soon as well!

(That's no crack in the wall btw, but a ribbon from the back shirring that got loose somehow :'D )

I wore my new shoes for the first time ^o^ It's fun to balance on the tip! I really love them, I was worried if they would make my legs appear short, but in fact I think they look quite good, I'm definitely happy with them! It was a bit weird to walk in them at first, though, I got used to it quite quickly but I guess I still look a bit awkward in them, haha ^^" But I guess I just have to "train" walking with them more.

Stupid ribbon XDD

Fun fact: I'm not allergic according to prick test, but I think I might be sensitive to hazle, willow or alder (I don't know what else might be blooming this early?) because every year, starting in late February, early March, my eyes will tear like crazy every single time I go outside. It's really annoying as it can mess up my make up terribly, and can look really disturbing when it gets bad. Interestingly, my eyes don't get red or swell, they just really tear a lot. For whatever reason. Anyhow, so this is the reason why I decided not to wear any lashes this time, also I am currently using my last pair of lower lashes from a box I ordered ages ago, and when this one breaks I don't have any left. I'm currently a bit clueless where to get new ones and which ones etc, do you have any recommendations?

I really hope I can post more outfit pics in the future! I also made a lookbook account, hoping that it'll keep me motivated to take the time to dress up and take pictures. It was really sunny today, so taking photos was easy, but unfortunately the room I take photos in isn't very well lit most of the time. Anyhow, I'll find a way, and I hope I can show you more outfits again in the future ^__^

  2. I said it once, and I'm gonna say it again: Ho. Ly. Crap *.*
You shouldn't worry about a babydoll-cut looking unflattering on you - it looks unflattering on anyone, but that' just my personal opinion. ^^ Yet you seem to have found a perfect solution.
The shoes look great, too. (I'm not gonna say anything about your legs, 'cause I couldn't make it sound not creepy somehow. :/ ... also, you got a boyfrien, so that's that. ^^)
The key necklace is a nice little detail. :)

    1. Psst, it's the secret of the magical camera angle that makes my leg look like that! :'D
Yeah, babydoll cuts look weird most of the time but they're really comfortable and worn with a belt I kinda like them sometimes :)
